The Camel Trail, a disused railway line following the River Camel between Bodmin and Padstow, is now a superb walking and cycling path, and inland you’ll find a glorious landscape of hidden valleys and sweeping moorland dotted with ancient stone circles and steeped in legend. | Bude is a very accessible place and opens Devon and Cornwall for visits. The Strand Holiday Apartments are central and are finished to a very high standard. This holiday is ideal for people of all ages, walkers, beach lovers and people wanting to get to know the area. |

| Excellent location for country, canal, beach walks, good pub, takeaways & restaurants. Friendly welcome by owners. Good standard of accommodation. A great base for exploring not only Bude but also the surrounding area. Would go back again. |
